With heavy hearts we note the passing of one of our black belts

Andover Premier Karate & Martial Arts Academy

It is with heavy hearts that we learned that Josh Putka a Premier Karate black belt passed away over the weekend. Josh was a member of the school leadership team and was a member of the school demonstration and competition team for several years. Josh was always willing to help and was very supportive of his children and their martial arts training. We will miss him greatly. If you would like to express your condolences to Josh's family you can do so at the following: http://www.ballardsunderfuneral.com/joshua-putka/

The Anoka County Sheriff's Office said two 13-year-old girls from Andover, Minn. who disappeared under "suspicious circumstances" Monday night were found in Burnsville and were with a 23-year-old man who has been arrested on a pending charge of solicitation.

The two teens were last seen together at 7:45 p.m. Monday in the area of 159th Avenue and Swallow Street. Anoka County investigators said the girls communicated with the suspect, identified as Casey Lee Chinn, online for at least two weeks before arranging a meet-up Monday night.  For more details you can read the story using the this link.
