First we want to congratulate the students that tested for their new color belts in Taekwon-Do on Friday February 1, they did a great job and we are proud of them.  I have posted a picture of those that tested on our school Facebook page.

Second, I want to invite everyone to come and watch the Black Belt test on Friday February 8.  We have 2 students testing for 1st Dan in Taekwon-Do and 1 student testing for Poom in Taekwon-Do.

Happy Thanksgiving from all of the staff of Premier Karate. Today is a day to spend with friends and family and be thankful for those around us. We are thankful for our great students and their families, they are what makes Premier Karate such a special place. I love food and football myself, but with out friends and family, the food and football would be pretty hollow. - Mr. O'Neill

In our kids classes we teach students practical self-defense and we teach students how to spot and avoid dangerous situations.  To support what we teach in class click on this link to go to some great Halloween safety tips from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children. 

Also on Halloween we will have reduced hours to allow students and staff to enjoy Halloween with their friends and family.  We will have the 5:30 Little Ninjas class and we will the 6:00 pm TKD class for all belts.  The school will close at 6:45 pm.

The Premier Karate demonstration and competition team "Team DC" won 1^st place in the advanced mega team forms competition at the Twin Cities Open Karate Championships on 9/23/12.  We are very proud of our kids and appreciate the support of our parents!  At Premier Karate tournament competition is purely optional, it is for students that enjoy competition and want to learn sport karate techniques in addition to the strong Taekwon-Do fundamentals that they learn in their regular classes.  Our regular classes focus on developing physical fitness, realistic self-defense techniques while developing self-control, confidence and many other life skills.
