Sign Up for In-Person Classes

To maintain compliance with the COVID capacity limits, students must be signed up for the in-person classes that they attend. If more students show up than what our COVID capacity limits allow, students that are not on the in-person sign up sheet will not be able to attend in-person classes that day.

Right now our beginner TKD Monday and Wednesday classes are running close to max capacity. We have plenty of room in the beginner TKD Tuesday and Thursday classes.

Leadership Team Meeting Saturday (11/7) at 11:40 am to 12:30 pm

We will have the first leadership team November meeting will be Thursday 10/22 at 7:30 pm. Here is the agenda:

  • Review new techniques for November

  • Curriculum review

  • Leadership training – Emotional Intelligence

Sparring Classes and Sparring Team

We have a sparring class Saturdays from 10:40 am to 11:10 am that is open to all TKD yellow belts and above (you don't have to be on the sparring team) that have their own sparring gear.

Sparring Team is for those that want to compete at tournaments in sparring and members get to wear the gray Team DC uniform.

If you have any questions please e-mail them to me at PremierKarateMN@gmail.com.

Random Acts of Kindness Journals

Students are required to do and record random acts of kindness in their journals. White belts need to do 50 random acts before they are allowed to belt test. For all color belts 100 random acts of kindness is required. You can pick up a new journal at the front desk.

Words of the Week – Black Belt Mastery thoughts on failure

In November we will be discussing failure in class. Here is discussion point number 1 on Failure and Perception.

Failure needs to be put into the right perspective, as it an opportunity for regrouping and evaluation. A Master accepts that failure is part of the journey that is success. Rich and empowering lessons are the reward of failure”

Little Ninjas and Tigers

We will work on Black (Fitness) and White (Discipline) stripes this week in class.

Hapkido

We will have the next Hapkido test on Friday 11/20 at 6 pm

VIP Passes

Don't forget to hand out the VIP passes to anyone you think may be interested in the martial arts. You will get gift card as a thank you for each new student that enrolls in the school.

Have a great day, Mr. O'Neill
