TKD students bring sparring gear to class this week

TKD yellow belts and above that have their own sparring gear need to bring it to class this week. We also have the sparring class Saturday from 10:40 am to 11:10 am.

Next Leadership Team Meeting - Thursday (2/18) at 7:30 pm to 8:10 pm

We will have the first leadership team November meeting will be Saturday from 11:40 to 12:30 pm. Here is the agenda:

• Review new techniques for February

• Curriculum review

• Leadership training – Emotional Intelligence

• Conflict resolution scenario based training for self-defenses

Random Acts of Kindness Journals

Students are required to do and record random acts of kindness in their journals.

• Little Ninjas and Tigers (All Belts) – 50 per belt

• TKD - White belts need to do 50 random acts before they are allowed to belt test. For all color belts 100 random acts of kindness is required.

You can pick up a new journal at the front desk.

We will work on Green (Control) and Yellow (Balance) stripes this week in class.

Future Belt Test Dates for All Programs

• TKD (Black Belts formal test) – Saturday 2/27 at 6:30 pm

• Little Ninjas and Tigers (All Belts) – Friday March 5th at 6 pm

• TKD (Color belt test) – Friday March 5th at 7 pm

If a student is on track to test at any of these dates, you will be getting a separate e-mail Thursday with details and what they need to do to earn their last stripe before the test.
