1) The following Little Ninja students earned their new belts and did a great job! - Layton, Oliver (Green), Hamza (Purple), Paul, Christian (Graduate Candidate), Elliot (Little Ninja Graduate).
2) Bring sparring gear to class this week - Students that have their own sparring gear need to bring it to class this week.
3) Evil Warrior #4 this week - The Magician
This week we will discuss and practice prevention technique to use against the evil warrior #4 "The Magician". The evil warriors represent common tricks used by predators to lure children, teens and adults into secluded areas where they can be taken advantage of.
4) Andover Fun Fest and School closed Saturday
The school will be closed Saturday since Premier Karate will be pariticpating in the Andover Fun Fest Parade and Stage Show.
The parade route runs from Andover High School to Andover City Hall. The parade starts at 11 am and Premier Karate is near the front of the parade. The stage show starts at 5 pm behind Andover City Hall.
5) Fun Fest and Demo Team practice schedule this week
For those participating in the Fun Fest parade or stage show we will practice your techniques when you come to regular classes this week for 10 minutes after your class ends.
Friday we will have an all team practice from 5:30 pm to 7 pm
Saturday arrive at Andover High School no later than 10 am. We have slot #14 in the parade. We will practice our parade routine while we wait for the parade to start at 11 am. Since we are near the front of the parade we should be done with parade between Noon and 12:30 pm. Parents can pick their kids up behind the YMCA.
Those participating in the stage show will need to gather at the Premier Karate booth at behind Andover City hall at 4 pm. We will practice from 4 pm to 5 pm. The stage show starts at 5 pm on the stage behind Andover City hall and will run about 15 minutes
